SUTTER EXPOSED

Sutter nurses strike for seven days starting May 17, 2013 at 7:00 a.m. The walkout is in response to demands by Sutter corporate officials for sweeping reductions in patient care protections and nurses’ contract standards at these hospitals. The strike will involve about 3,300 RNs as well as several hundred respiratory, X-ray, and other technicians.

The last year has been very challenging for our family. My husband is a self-employed window installer. He was the main breadwinner for our family. With the loss of auto jobs and other job losses in Michigan, we lost a lot of our customers.
