National Nurses United (NNU) union members will canvass door to door in Pittsburgh, Pa., in support of Vice President Kamala Harris, Gov. Tim Walz, and the Democratic presidential ticket this Saturday, Oct. 12. National Nurses United nurses endorsed Harris for President on July 23.

“Registered nurses with National Nurses United are excited to talk to the people of Pittsburgh about why we must elect Vice President Kamala Harris and Gov. Tim Walz for president and vice president,” said Nancy Hagans, RN, a president of National Nurses United. “As patient advocates representing the largest union of registered nurses in the country, we understand how important it is to have a president and vice president who will fight to support working families, who champion union workers, and who believe health care is a human right. Vice President Harris and Gov. Walz have shown their commitment to the people of this country and to expanding our freedoms and improving our lives. We know that the Harris-Walz ticket is the best choice to protect our patients and ourselves.”
