San Joaquin County General Hospital Nurses to Hold Shift Change Action to Call on San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors to Respect Nurses

To demand the highest level of personal protective equipment (PPE) for nurses; including N95s and PAPRs, no reuse of PPE, respecting and valuing the input of frontline nurses, and safe staffing levels, registered nurses at San Joaquin County General Hospital are holding a shift change action and media availability at 7:30 a.m., May 6, during their shift change to describe current conditions and concerns of nurses, announced California Nurses Association/National Nurses United, the nation’s largest and fastest-growing nurses’ union representing 150,000 registered nurses across the country.
