CNA Sponsored Law to Prevent Workplace Violence Goes Into Effect

Workplace violence is a serious and growing issue affecting nurses and other healthcare workers and their patients. CNA fought for and won legislation and regulation that requires healthcare employers to prevent workplace violence before it happens. April 1, 2018 is the deadline for California healthcare employers to have their comprehensive, unit-specific workplace violence prevention plans in place.
