National Nurses United (NNU), the largest union of registered nurses in the United States, today announced they have endorsed Assemblymember Luz Maria Rivas to represent California’s 29th Congressional District, home to over 750,000 people in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles.

Assemblymember Rivas is a proven policy leader for working families, putting their needs before corporations and billionaires. She has also been a fierce advocate for environmental and climate justice as Chair of the Assembly Committee on Natural Resources. We need more elected leaders like Assemblymember Rivas fighting for nurses’ values in our nation’s capital.”
