National Nurses United (NNU) union members are joining the Pennsylvania State AFL-CIO canvass on Saturday, October 19, in support of Vice President Kamala Harris for the Democratic presidential ticket. Nurses’ focus will be reaching out to and speaking with other union members and their households.

“There is no question for NNU members that the Harris-Walz ticket represents nurses’ values of community, caring, compassion, and equity,” said NNU President Nancy Hagans, RN. “We are union workers committed to advocating for our patients and expanding union representation in hospitals nationwide. A Trump presidency would take us backward, but with Harris-Walz in the White House, we can improve our health care system and health outcomes for all Americans.”
