National Nurses #BernieBus Arrives in Arizona
National Nurses United will bring its campaign, and its colorful #BernieBus, through Phoenix and Tucson this week as nurses continue to spread the message of why they support Sen. Bernie Sanders for President.
Today, the #BernieBus, which has been in Nevada for the past two weeks after spending time earlier in January in Iowa, can be seen at various locales in Tucson and Phoenix.
The bus will then make a stop to greet volunteers phoning for Bernie Sanders in Phoenix.

National Nurses United is the largest union of nurses in the country, with 185,000 members in 50 states—and was the first national union to endorse Sanders, in August, 2015.
Since then nurses have been campaigning for Sanders across the country, and have since been talking to voters around the country.
“It is Bernie Sanders who has made guaranteeing health care to everyone through an improved Medicare for all, which is also the best way to solve the crisis of medical debt, a centerpiece of his campaign,” said RoseAnn DeMoro, Executive Director of NNU.
“Bernie is the also the most viable candidate who is not only fighting for raising the minimum wage to $15 an hour, but has sponsored legislation to do so. He was the first major candidate to oppose the Trans-Pacific Partnership, the latest trade deal which will harm U.S. workers and raise the already inflated prescription drug prices,” DeMoro said. “All of these issues are critical to public health—and to that end, important to nurses, who are the ones at the bedside, caring for the public.”
With the #BernieBus NNU members have been campaigning for Sanders, in rallies, house parties, talking to voters at public sites and events.
