In the countdown to Saturday's Nevada caucuses, National Nurses United’s #BernieBus is making its way through the Nevada capital, Carson City, on Tuesday morning, and then heading to the University of Nevada Reno to meet with students. Nurses will be passing out Bernie placards and flyers on campus, and explaining how to caucus.

Tuesday's Carson City and Reno stops follow a busy weekend of some 50 nurses canvassing for Bernie in Henderson, Nevada.
"This is the first time in my life that I have the opportunity to support a presidential candidate whose values match what I work for as a registered nurse--who is working to create the kind of fair and just system that can heal this country," said David Welch, RN, who took part in the weekend's canvassing, and is now traveling with the #BernieBus. "It has been thrilling to see how excited people are to see the bus. People are inspired by Bernie, and we have had a lot of meaningful conversations with Nevada voters this week."
National Nurses United is the largest organization of nurses in the country, with 185,000 members nationwide, and was the first national union to endorse Bernie in August, 2015. In addition to the #BernieBus, NNU nurse members across the country also continue to knock on doors, phone bank, hold house parties, and participate in marches for Bernie.
The #BernieBus will make its way through Reno on Tuesday.
