WHO WE ARE
CNA/NNOC is leading the national movement for Registered Nurse power to transform the market-driven health care industry in the United States into a health care system based on patient need.
CNA/NNOC nurses have won a union contract that addresses equity, diversity, and inclusion and a commitment to a workplace free from racism and discrimination. We passed the historic California RN Safe Staffing Law – the first of its kind nationwide.

A skilled Labor Representative with experience in:
- Creative methods of addressing workplace issues to build power
- Collective bargaining
- Compiling, analyzing, interpreting and presenting pertinent data
- Grievance and arbitration
- Organizing campaigns

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE
The Labor Representative is responsible for:
- All matters related to collective bargaining, including organizing nurses in private and public employment
- Compiling, analyzing, interpreting and presenting pertinent data
- Assisting with contract negotiations
- Processing grievances and conducting arbitrations
- Representing nurses in employment-related problems
ADDITIONAL & PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Insatiable work ethic and drive to create systemic change
- Demonstrated success assisting with contract negotiations and arbitrations
- Prior experience as a full-time labor representative a plus
- Effectiveness in organizing membership participation
- Developing rank and file leadership.
- Driver's license and insured car required.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
Competitive salary depending on experience $70,332-$188,796/yr., and outstanding benefits offered, including comprehensive family health and dental plan, and generous pension.
