Now, hundreds of hospitals are at risk of service cuts or closure — but nurses, patients, and our allies are fighting back! We launched a national Red Alert: Save Our Hospitals, Protect Our Patients tour to build the power necessary to reverse health care cuts, support union organizing, advocate for state-level solutions, and realize a Vision for a Healthy Society, with Medicare for All and more.
The Red Alert tour is stopping in communities and states across the country in 2026 and beyond to host family-friendly events where we will make our demands heard. Each event includes music, food, a program of speakers, free wellness checks, and a free children’s book. We’re holding elected officials and our employers accountable for protecting the people’s health, not billionaires’ and big corporations’ wealth — and building the nurse and worker power that it will take to win.
